Camelia Șucu is the new President of the Romanian Red Cross, elected for a 4-year term by the General Assembly of the National Society of the Red Cross in Romania, held in Bucharest last weekend. Recognized for her active involvement in the humanitarian field, Camelia Șucu expressed her readiness to lead the Romanian Red Cross team into a new phase of development.
“It is an honor and a special responsibility to be elected President of the Romanian Red Cross. I am fully dedicated to the humanitarian mission and firmly believe in the power of solidarity and our actions to support those in need. Together with my team, we will ensure that we strengthen and expand the services provided by the Romanian Red Cross, in order to bring real help and hope to the lives of the most vulnerable,” said the new President of the Romanian Red Cross, Camelia Șucu.
On her first day of mandate, May 29, 2023, President Camelia Șucu met with the executive team at the headquarters of the Romanian Red Cross and established a calendar of activities and priorities for the upcoming period.
